Terms & Conditions

Champagne Lane Catering – Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: May 15, 2025

 

By booking with Champagne Lane Catering (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully before confirming your event.

1. Booking & Deposit

  • To secure your event date, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total invoice is required at the time of booking.

  • Dates are not guaranteed until the deposit is received and confirmed in writing.

  • Final guest count and menu selections are due no later than 10 days before the event.

  • A minimum order of $200 is required for all catering services.

 

2. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due no later than 5 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Payments can be made via  Cash, Zelle, Cash App, or ApplePay.

  • Late payments may result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of deposit.

 

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

  • Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • If you cancel more than 10 days before the event, any additional payments made (beyond the deposit) may be refunded at our discretion.

  • Cancellations within 10 days of the event are non-refundable in full.

 

4. Menu Changes

  • Menu selections must be finalized at least 10 days prior to the event.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate last-minute changes, but additional fees may apply and availability is not guaranteed.

 

5. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

  • Champagne Lane Catering is not a certified allergen-free kitchen. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that our food is free of allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, or shellfish.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform guests of any potential allergens. By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

 

6. Delivery & Setup

  • Delivery, setup, and/or service fees will be included in your quote unless otherwise stated.

  • We are not responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control, including inclement weather, traffic, or venue access issues.

 

7. Rentals & Equipment

  • Any rentals (e.g., chafing dishes, utensils, linens, etc.) remain the property of Champagne Lane Catering and must be returned in good condition.

  • Clients are responsible for any lost or damaged rental items and will be billed accordingly.

 

8. Leftovers

  • At the client’s request, leftovers may be packaged and left on-site. Once transferred, the client assumes full responsibility for proper handling, storage, and consumption.

  • Champagne Lane Catering is not liable for any foodborne illness or issues arising from food consumed after the event.

 

9. Liability

  • Champagne Lane Catering is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred during or after the event, including those caused by food, equipment, or third-party services.

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Champagne Lane Catering from any claims related to the event or services provided.

 

10. Force Majeure

  • Champagne Lane Catering shall not be held liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, power outages, pandemics, or other unforeseeable events.

 

11. Photography & Marketing

  • We reserve the right to photograph our food and setups for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing before the event.

 

12. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting your deposit and booking our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
